Looking Good Can Be About More Than Just Looking Good

Multiple ways to enhance success with great styling and clear marks of quality production

There.App modules include Chat, Events (which is project calendar), Files and Tasks. There are a lot of software products and services in each of those realms, as is also the case in our other feature areas. We’re different. For one thing, the alternatives tend not to bring together as much functional scope as we provide, at least not with as much egalitarian balance,  fluid navigation, consistent presentation, and flexible integration across the capabilities. But also, we look good doing it! A lot of care goes into There.App design, including our extending to customers their own abilities to shape the specific looks of their good-looking projects, versus more utilitarian and disjoint elements that are in most project and collaboration software.

Handsome software is not just some fanciful dalliance, but is strategically essential by us in order to best support organized on-location activities. With physical and logistical considerations involved, often under tight time constraints, our sorts of projects can fairly be labeled “productions”. There tend to be material associated costs, and things can get exacerbated by the travel and whatnot, and there’s pressure of outcomes that may get all-or-nothing assessment. It’s crucial to fulfill high quality professional standards, and seeing details and features presented clearly, consistently, and attractively can factor into teams confidently buying into that quality, and fully committing to success.

Putting together projects with aesthetic sensibility can also spark imaginations of organizers and participants to motivate insights and creative flourishes less likely to occur while just looking over grids of words, statistics and buttons put together without overarching design consideration. The work we support can be especially multifaceted in considerations, expansive in possibilities, and subjective in how things get assessed. Providing some stylistic inspiration can prompt ideas and energize performance.

Our commitment to There.App software looking good extends with latitude for our customers to make their own imprints. This includes selection of prominent visual aspects like theme colors, logos and cover images (for which we also provide access to license-cleared professional photography). Polished presentation of incorporated elements includes how photos and videos can be displayed, and pages can be built with formatted text and further selection of images with control over how they’re presented. Empowering our customers these ways lets them set the tone for their projects and underscore most vital messaging. Beyond looking nice (which is important!), design can be employed as a vehicle for conveying key project messaging.

Of course a lot of the point of looking nice is for people’s enjoyment. Again, this is all the more appropriate in a lot of There.App usage circumstances. Our common uses include celebrations, tourism, performances or people just getting out from behind their desks and being in company of other people, often in inspiring places. While those in-person elements should be the main drivers of enjoyment, occasionally glancing down at well-considered and elegant screens can’t hurt.

Ultimately, we hope that our software being good-looking elevates the success of the principals who put together projects and lead their execution. They have on-the-line accountability for success, and studies actually show event management responsibilities rivaling some life / death professions for stress levels. Aesthetic impressions are among the top factors of how clients, colleagues and other important parties involved assess the quality of efforts. We try to do our part making our champions look good, by looking good ourselves, to assure their success in the undertaking and bolster their positioning going forward.
